Youth Summer Camps

Braiding Pathways Mountain Camp (BPMC) invites youth into immersive, place-based adventures that foster deep connection to nature, community, and self. Rooted in land-based learning, our camps blend wilderness skills, ecological stewardship, and creative expression to cultivate resilience, confidence, and a strong sense of identity grounded in place.
Through imaginative play, theater and LARP-inspired storytelling, plant identification, tool-building, restoration projects, and hands-on outdoor practices, campers don’t just learn about the natural world — they actively belong to it. In safe, supportive spaces designed for curiosity and creativity to thrive, youth build meaningful relationships with the land and with one another.
Creature & Craft Week
Experience the grand world of animal imitation, movement, and play through a theatre- and craft-inspired week, exploring the diverse species in our ecosystem. Each day, campers will dive into the creatures and plants that call this area home, discovering their unique roles within the ecosystem. Through imaginative movement, hands-on crafts, cooking projects, and habitat restoration activities, participants will build a deeper understanding of how each species contributes to the whole.
The week culminates in a celebratory Market Day, where campers share what they’ve learned and created, enjoy food and community, and showcase performances inspired by the natural world.
Camp week is June 22 – 26.
Fantasy & Forest Week
Step into a world where fantasy meets the forest! Campers will explore elements of local history and naturalist knowledge while developing practical wilderness skills like orienteering, tracking, bird language, camouflage, situational awareness, native plant identification, medicine making, and tool crafting. Inspired by the storytelling spirit of Dungeons & Dragons, the week builds toward an epic, full-day group quest to restore balance to the mythical realm of Klaatu-Nikto, home of the Dragonborn. Perfect for imaginative thinkers, aspiring adventurers, and campers who love a challenge.
Camp week is July 6 – 10.
Additional Camp Information
- Braiding Pathways Mountain Camp is open to all kids from ages 8-16.
- Each camp session is Monday-Friday from 9 AM – 5 PM.
- Transportation is not provided
- Lunch, snacks, and water will be provided.
- $425/child per session.
- Staff and counselors are CPR/AED Certified and undergo background checks.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made at least 7 days before the program start date are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made 3–6 days prior are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made fewer than 3 days before the start date are not eligible for a refund.
Transfers to another week may be requested at least 3 days prior to the start date and are subject to availability.
To ensure a meaningful group experience, each session requires a minimum of 5 campers. We reserve the right to cancel or modify a session due to low enrollment, inclement weather, or other circumstances affecting safe operation. If we cancel a program, a full refund will be issued.
“Camp the Loup”

Get ready for three unforgettable days of outdoor adventure at Camp the Loup! Nestled in the heart of Okanogan County, this action packed summer camp invites kids to explore the wild, make new friends, and discover the wonders of nature. With hands-on environmental education and place-based learning, campers will hike, play, learn, and grow.
Camp the Loup is a new summer camp experience at the Loup for kids entering 1st through 6th grades. Your kids will explore the natural world around them through arts and crafts, fun games, hikes, and more!
Session One: June 25, 26, 27
Session Two: July 9, 10, 11
Session Three: July 16, 17, 18
Session Four: July 23, 24, 25
More sessions may be added based on demand.
Additional Camp Information…
- Camp will be three days long on Wednesdays – Fridays from 9AM – 5 PM.
- Activities include hiking, disc golf, arts, and ecology.
- Transportation is not provided.
- Lunch, snacks and water will be provided.
- Registration fee is $225/camper.
- All staff and counselors are CPR/AED Certified and undergo background checks.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
If registration is cancelled no less than a week prior to the start date, a full refund will be issued. If cancelled no less than 3 days before the program start date, a 50% refund will be issued. Any cancellations less than 3 days before the start of a camp will not be eligible for any refund. Although we rarely would need to do so, we reserve the right to cancel a program. In this event, you will be issued a full refund.
