Volunteer Opportunities-Get Involved!

The Loup is the result of countless hours of community involvement, and we are always excited to welcome new volunteers to the club!

Whether it’s checking tickets at the lift, leading snowshoe walks or simply lending a hand to keep the hill clean, pristine and safe we will always find a way for folks to be part of what makes the Loup such a wonderful and welcoming place to recreate. It takes a lot of effort and love to make run a ski hill, and we sure could use all the help we can get. So, if you are interested in getting involved don’t hesitate to reach out!

• The desire to keep Winter recreation accessible
• Enthusiasm!
• Good customer service skills

Luge Guides

Loup Loup Ski Bowl is expanding its Bear Mountain Luge Guide staff. Come and be part of something unique, in fact it’s the only natural luge track west of the Mississippi River. Once acquiring their own luge sledding skills, Guides will instruct guests on the skills progress, and then travel with them as they sled down Bear Mountain.

Never luge sledded before, no worries! Training is provided.

Luge Guide Duties:
Instruct guests on how to use the sleds and then guide guests (along with one experienced Guide) on their Bear Mountain sledding adventure. Guides also participate in track maintenance. 

Qualifications:

• Valid First Aid and CPR (this can be completed once on staff)
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable instructing small groups
• Commit to a minimum of 3 days per month (lift ticket is earned for each volunteer day)
• Enthusiasm!
• Good customer service skills
