Here are some ways you can support The Loup AND earn a lift ticket for every day of service, or a season pass for more than 40 hours of service!

Loup Ambassadors

Be a part of the Loup family to help greet our guests and welcome them to our mountain. The Loup is made up of its various local communities and we are excited and proud to launch the Loup Ambassador program in its first year.

Loup Ambassadors duties will include answering questions and giving directions on the mountain in all weather, serving free coffee and hot cider in the mornings and accompanying Ski School classes and programs. The premise of this popular program is to get members of the community more involved with guests by sharing knowledge of the mountain as well as the culture, dining, rentals and retail, events and the spirit of community that exemplifies the Loup Loup Ski Bowl.

Qualifications:

  • Good communication skills
  • Commit to a minimum of 3 days per month (lift ticket is earned for each volunteer day)
  • Enthusiasm!
  • Good customer service skills

5th Grade Ambassadors

Much like the Loup Ambassadors, the 5th Grade Ambassadors will fulfill the same type of duties, but will be integrally involved with the midweek 5th Grade program. This will include providing a host role to these students and leading alternative recreational activities such as Snowshoeing and Nordic Skiing.

Luge Guides

Loup Loup Ski Bowl is expanding its Bear Mountain Luge Guide staff. Come and be part of something unique, in fact it’s the only natural luge track west of the Mississippi River. Once acquiring their own luge sledding skills, Guides will instruct guests on the skills progress, and then travel with them as they sled down Bear Mountain.

Never luge sledded before, no worries! Training is provided.

Luge Guide Duties:
Instruct guests on how to use the sleds and then guide guests (along with one experienced Guide) on their Bear Mountain sledding adventure. Guides also participate in track maintenance.

Qualifications:

  • Valid First Aid and CPR (this can be completed once on staff)
  • Good communication skills
  • Comfortable instructing small groups
  • Commit to a minimum of 3 days per month (lift ticket is earned for each volunteer day)
  • Enthusiasm!
  • Good customer service skills
